There are 33 comments below for Glee so far. Why not have your say?
  1. It WAS all that bad from the beginning. Gayer than Elton John sucking on a cock flavoured lollypop.

  2. Wasnt all that bad in the beginning. Yes, i know its a teen drama with a sing song twist and its easy to slag it off. But it was fun atleast for a while. Once it became spot the celebrity every episode the show became tedious and annoying. It all seemed to go pear shaped realy quickly and the novelty of the glee club kids wore off.

  3. A little bit of a guilty pleasure for a couple of seasons. Once all the ‘issues’ and preachy agenda shit became more regular features and really got out of control then i had enough. It used to be a fun show about some school kids singing now it lectures the viewer on whatever subject they have chosen. Its ok to be gay, just be who you are, be true to yourself …. all that shit.

  4. I hate that every week another classic song gets butchered by this lot. Some may say ‘well atleast it gets the kids interested in real music’. No. Its not like that at all, it just gets them interested in hearing more terrible Glee cover versions. I doubt whether the kids who watch this tripe even question if the songs they are trying to sing along too are cover versions or original Glee tunes. As for the show……where to begin? It has nothing going for it that would make me tune in every week. There are some great kids dramas out there Glee isnt one of them.

  5. This season it has definitely jumped the shark. It is just one made up reason for a song after another.

  6. I feel like i am now being lectured while i watch this about all manner of topics. Once Glee was a cartoonish fantasy bit of fun now its all soooooo serious. With a never ending stream of hard hitting controversial storylines. I’m not sure when exactly it happened but it did.

  7. Fun for afew seasons. But Glee is now a preachy agenda driven bore. Even the guest stars have stopped appearing. Just make it fun again like it used to be.

  8. Ofcourse it jumped from the start. There should be no debate on this, just universal acceptance.

  9. Too many guest stars i totally agree. That was when Glee was the new cool show. Now its not so cool and they cant overlook the lack of quality storylines anymore. Cant just rely on a big name star to appear every episode and forget about the writing of credible plot lines. The stories are now all over the place and the A listers have vanished.

  10. Far too many guest stars. There will be none left to appear at this rate. Oh whats this? Ricky Martin wants to star in a camp as you like all singing all dancing drama? I did not see that one coming.

  11. If ever there was a tv show i was going to dislike before even seeing it….it was Glee. Happy clappy sing songs dont do it for me.

  12. Gay issues have taken over Glee.

  13. First season rocked!! Downhill from there though im afraid. Forget the guest stars and preaching to the audience. Add more Sue Sylvester though her sarcastic comments can save even the most mediocre episode.

    Back to basics!!!

  14. Ww have CD’S to buy, DVD singalongs, concerts and 3D movies. Its a marketing vehicle to sell sell sell.

  15. Jumped from the start. Everything i hate about a tv show with added songs.

  16. First season was pretty good i thought. But its all changed now. Characters acting out of character and Soooo many guest stars that we dont require. Glee can be funny and entertaining at times but it always spoils it by the storylines coming back to acceptance and tolerance blah blah blah. Why cant we all love each other??? Cause you’re a guy in highschool singing and dancing and deserve to be bullied for it.

  17. Its ok to be homosexual kids. Hey dont worry, you can even sing a song about it if you want. When everyone in the school is apparently turning gay though its time to start asking questions.

  18. Too camp :D Yes folks its teen drama set in a school and revolving around an al singing all dancing glee club. What did you expect??

  19. Special guest star….Gwyneth Paltrow. Am i the only person who doesnt like her singing or acting??

  20. Its way to preachy.

  21. The promotional adverts for this tell me all i need to know. Another typical teen drama but…oh no!!, now we get subjected to spontanious singing and dancing. Aswell as the usual bad acting and preachy storylines. Oh and MalindaJ, mixing Fame with S Club 7 is exactly the reason why i hate this so much.

  22. So over the top its unbelievable. The constant preaching for people to accept everyone for everything they are gets in the way of anything remotely enjoyable. Jumped first episode without question.

  23. Another day another guest star.

  24. Glee rules!!! Its a great show full of great characters and fantastic sing alongs. Its like mixing Fame with S Club 7. How can anyone hate this?

  25. Glee mania and Glee commercials were enough to ensure i never ever watched this.

  26. The happy clappyness of it all is too much for me and its camper than a row of tents. Doesnt appeal to me in any way shape or form.

  27. Aww come on. You have to love Glee. Natural disasters, famine, poverty and a financial crisis. None of this matters in Glee World. A guilty pleasure of mine. I love the storylines and its impossible not to sing along with the cast. I agree Sue Sylvester gets the best lines and she delivers them in a fantastic deap pan way.

Go easy on the celebrity guest stars though ;)

  28. The Gleeks sure are a weird bunch. Brought together through their tragic obsession for a high school musical style drama.

But what happens when its over?? What then for the Gleeks ?

This show sucked from day one.

  29. The first season was great but then came the second. They had too many guest stars and then start attacking Christian groups.

  30. Dont Stop Believing was fine before this lot got their hands on it.

    Shame on you Glee.

    And the ‘Gleeks’ :|

  31. Well i hate it.

Having seen clips of the show and heard them murder classic songs by bands such as Journey its clearly not the show for me.

Plus we now have “Gleeks” a collective name for a gang of overweight singletons who band together and watch their favorite show, sing the songs badly and wear Glee T-shirts that strain against their bulging guts.

Gleek isnt the word i had in mind for them. Mine begins with a C , and its not ‘cool’.

    Yea dont bother with this.

Thats all i have to say.

  32. I think its one of those shows, love it or hate it. I for one love it. Sue Sylvester gets some of the best one liners

“You think this is hard? I’m passing a gallstone as we speak. That is hard!”
