The Hills is an MTV television series that premiered on May 31, 2006. The show uses a reality 
television format, following the personal lives of several young adults living in Los Angeles, California. Entertainment Weekly ranked The Hills 82nd on their list of “The 100 Best Shows of the Last 25 Years,” stating that the series was a “New Classic.” On March 27, 2010, the magazine ran a story announcing that the show’s sixth season will be the last, and will have a total of 12 episodes. At one point, the series follows the personal life of former Laguna Beach star Lauren Conrad and her friends’ new lives in Los Angeles. After five seasons, Conrad chose to leave the series, and was replaced by another former Laguna Beach star, Kristin Cavallari, beginning in the second half of season five. Cavallari announced on July 16, 2009 that she signed on for two additional seasons following the fifth. The series’ sixth season was announced on December 1, 2009, during The Hills Aftershow. It began filming on January 13, 2010, and debuted on April 27, 2010. On March 25, 2010, The Hills producer and creator Adam DiVello announced that it would be the final season. Filming wrapped on July 2, 2010 the final episode aired on July 13.

Every little drama gets so blown out of all proportion it drives me crazy. Ive never seen such drama queens. If there is an excuse for Lauren to give a high and mighty speech to her flock while the tears flow then she will find it. And why the hell was Audrina always ‘done’ with stuff. She was always telling Justin Bobby ‘Im done’ after splitting up for the last time. Before going back for more then being ‘done’ again.

Spencer was the only good thing about this. And i dont believe for a second that the producers of The Hills planned how great this obnoxious tv gold idiot became. They got lucky…..we kept watching.

A slighlty more grown up version of Laguna Beach with about as much excitment going on but far too much Lauren airtime. The Hills was only saved by the most obnoxious self centred man on the planet…Spencer Pratt!!. The only reason for watching. Give this man his own tv show (if he already has his own tv show please let me know)

Lauren drives away into the sunset as Spencer and Heidi get married. Then her old highschool rival Kristin swoops in to take her place as main character on the show. And to think people questioned if this was actually real life or not

Jumped from the start. Its pretty standard MTV stuff this im afraid. Clearly set up staged drama with self absorbed people who lack brains but look pretty. This is what our kids aspire to be.

Im amazed anyone asked Lauren for advice in the first place. She ruined every relationship shes ever had. Yet her friends swarm to her like shes the person to turn too in a time of need.
